About the Festival

The Festival of Giving was formed due to the overwhelming need to assist local nonprofits in the Magic Valley. It is a fundraiser for multiple charities rather than a single charity and helps neglected children, the homeless, abused animals, local athletics, injured veterans, those in crisis, and many more. Southern Idaho Landscape Center and Farmers Bank are proud to be the major sponsors of this grass-roots fundraising event. They have made the long term commitment to support philanthropy in the Magic Valley and keep the spirit of civic betterment alive and strong. One hundred percent (100%) of the proceeds from the festival are distributed among the participating charities and nonprofit organizations.

The 6th annual Magic Valley Festival of Giving kicks off at Southern Idaho Landscape Center with the Gala of Giving, Friday, November 17th; Sip & Savor: Uncork Your Support, Saturday, November 18th; and the general exhibition running Saturday, November 18th, through Monday, November 20th. Together, individual donors and local non-profits decorate trees and wreaths that are auctioned off at the Gala of Giving. Tickets for the Gala of Giving will be available at Southern Idaho Landscape Center or any Farmers Bank location. Daily Festival admission will be $1, a canned food item or a toy to benefit local charities. Festival admission will directly benefit the participating charities through a voting program. All attendees will receive a ticket to vote on the tree or decoration of their choice with the specific nonprofit receiving one dollar for each vote they receive.

The goal of this event is to give back to the Magic Valley as a whole. The mission statement of the Magic Valley Festival of Giving is to support programs that sustain and improve the communities of the Magic Valley. With the combined participation of the public and numerous local nonprofits, not one, but many, benefit from the Festival making it a win-win for everyone by touching the lives of many. We would greatly appreciate your support in fulfilling our mission of making the Magic Valley a better place for those in need. All proceeds from the Festival go back to local Magic Valley charities and non-profits.
